@elaraxo0 @grok Square footage taken up by each member of the family. Mom has the biggest closet, kid has a lot of toys and play space, dad just has his space. The other kid isn’t part of the family (no arm around him). He’s just photobombing.
@DougKlaaJohnson@DefiantLs Pickup truck driver can’t see anything behind him except the semi’s giant grill in his mirrors. I’ve been in this situation. He’s not trying to block the semi. He’s trying to get out of the way of a dangerous driver.
@Onfire1975@kris10ryan54@DefiantLs Some *hole semi did this for literally hundred miles. I slow down, he slowed down. I sped up, he sped up. I switched to the left lane, he dangerously swerved and nearly ran another car behind me off the road just to keep tailgating me.
@Onfire1975@kris10ryan54@DefiantLs No, I’ve been in this situation. The truck being tailgated can’t see behind him. When a semi is that close on your tail, all you can see is a giant grill in your mirror. The only way to get out of that situation is move over and hope nobody is in the left lane
@thedooberhead@killbyundrscore I was a perfect tenant, but I moved into a slum. Walls completely rotted out, no working fridge or stove, felony tenants. It was the only place I could find with immediate availability when my prior plans fell through. Some landlords are just greedy.
@killbyundrscore Meanwhile, my landlord charged me extra $500 for “letting the gas meter get locked out” when I never had gas service to begin with. And uploaded a fraudulent lease that I never signed with a higher rent, claiming that was my new rent in the middle of the year.
@landofthe80s We had one of the last few remaining stores. It closed some years ago. They had the best music playing. Wish someone would have saved it/made a playlist.
@financedystop I did something similar bc my bill was getting out of control. I unplugged everything and left to go out of town for a month. My bill was even higher and I tried to argue it. Response I got from electric company was: AC runs even when unplugged. 🤪
@nola80439@MrPitbull07 Lawyers have a duty to their client. They’re just doing their job. But the judges should have never released a violent criminal into society. Shame on them!
@oldreepicheep @MrPitbull07 The only part I don’t agree with is the last sentence. Why keep burdening taxpayers with keeping that thing alive? And risk a prison escape? What about the prison employees who have to risk their lives to feed that monster? Executions are the only definitive solution.
@FischerKing64 Actually, I live in such a neighborhood right now. Consistently ranked as the safest small town in the US. Unfortunately it is very expensive to live here and I can’t afford it anymore, so I’m moving 😞
@realkaralynch@ABC Cruise ships are more expensive and slower than flying, but plenty of people prefer cruising. If your only concerns are expense and time, then yes, you should stick to flying.
@Ryan_Daigler Recently I met a family of supportive, happy-go-lucky types and the difference was jolting. You can really tell the difference between people who’ve had to carry a weight on their shoulders all their lives vs people who were lucky to be born into a healthy family.
@levonhelm80 @Rainmaker1973 I think our driver/operator was drunk, but I also have no desire to do it again either. It looks like fun when you’re a kid but the actual experience of having hot flames near your head is not so fun.
@fairnstar8@ABC If you watch the video, he did forcefully snatch the child, but the mother quickly pulled the child back. Harder to prove his intent since he didn’t actually leave the store with the child. Plus, he got himself a really effective lawyer.
