@project4_4 1st Canadian Armoured Brigade broke new ground cross training with infantry to coordinate battlefield tactics. Tanks take out hard points and troops take out anti tank defenses.

OTD 1918 L Cpl Charles Allen Goodwillie MM killed in action in France #WWI. #Teacher, #volunteer, and @vimyfoundation #hero. The war ended 42 days later. Only son.

OTD 1917 L/Cpl CA Goodwillie took tea and hot soup forward to fellow troops in battle at #Vimy ridge. Cook section lost earlier to shellfire. CAG awarded MIlitary Medal for his repeated trips under fire. Over 3600 killed. We will remember them. @RoyalCdnLegion @vimyfoundation 🇨🇦
