Canister shots are great against many targets, but a swarm of 20-30 drones attacking in sequence (and thats how many attack a tank in Ukraine on average before its destroyed) is not one of them. A tank turrent cant aim fast enough, theres not enough ammo on board. Not to mention the effect of such ammuniton on any frienly units that are its line of fire, and drones dont attack from front.
@pmarca For the past 11 years I hired developers. Since about a year I hire people from all possible dyscplines to prompt AI. Our team grew 110%. AI will not replace workforce the same as steam engine didnt. New jobs are coming.
@kamilkazani Yeah, well this is why the author wrote "Is not KNOWN for its sense of humour". Because it isn't. He is not claiming that it doesn't have it.
Every consequence the US and others are facing now would be significantly worse with each passing year. What’s your solution? To allow Iran to hold the entire world within range of its missiles — including Europe — hostage and become a new North Korea by acquiring nuclear weapons?
The distances were vast. The social structure was different. Cavalry in Poland and Russia was mostly formed from numerous poor and middle nobility. There were no large cities to support infantry recruitment. Most high quality infantry in either PLC or Russia were western mercenaries - Germans, Scotts. There was in fact an anti cavalry unit -the tabor, a type of huge, multi-layered mobile wagon fort. Tabors were utilised by Poles, Russians and Cossacks, often used as the core of their formation.
