Honestly, I think Peter had the physical advantage over Steve in that fight. The problem was that Peter was still a teenager who was treating the whole thing like an insane field trip. 😭

He wasn’t trying to seriously hurt Captain America, he was talking the entire time, showing off, and clearly not fighting with the same experience or mindset as Steve.

If Peter actually locked in, stopped holding back and fought seriously, Steve would have a much harder time putting him down. Peter was basically just discovering his own strength in real time.

That’s what makes the airport fight so funny… Peter was strong enough to overwhelm Steve, but mentally he was still just a kid who couldn’t believe he was fighting Captain America. 😭
