@ChrisMartzWX "Most climate activists, who are on the left, want economic activities to cease to “save the planet” (or in reality, redistribute wealthy."
The ultimate goal is the destruction of the Capitalist economies of the world. Climate activists are Marxist revolutionaries.
In 1970, Salvador Allende promised Chileans paradise through nationalization, price controls, and the printing press. By 1973 he delivered 600 percent inflation, empty shelves, and factories seized by decree. Wheat rotted while bureaucrats in Santiago set the price of bread. Food shortages naturally followed. Central planning produces shortage administered by clipboard, not equality.
Then came the counterrevolution of ideas. A group of Chilean economists trained at the University of Chicago, the "Chicago Boys," took the wheel after 1975 and did the unthinkable. They cut government spending. They privatized state firms, roughly 500 of them. They slashed tariffs from an average of 105 percent down to 10 percent by 1979. They freed prices and opened the country to trade.
The results were not a matter of opinion. Chile's per capita GDP climbed from among the region's laggards to the highest in Latin America, surpassing Argentina, Brazil, and Mexico. Poverty fell from around 45 percent in 1987 to under 10 percent by the 2010s.
José Piñera's 1981 pension reform let workers own their retirement accounts instead of trusting politicians who spend the funds by Tuesday.
Free the prices. Watch the wealth follow.
Two countries split from the same colonial body in 1965. One picked economic freedom. The other picked handouts and racial spoils. You already know how this ended.
Singapore had no oil, no farmland, no hinterland. Just a swamp and a port. Lee Kuan Yew looked at that and trusted trade, low taxes, and hard money. Central planners hate what he did.
Malaysia went the other way. In 1971 Kuala Lumpur launched the New Economic Policy, a state program handing quotas, contracts, and university seats to ethnic Malays. Politicians decided who got what. A commissar fantasy dressed in liberal language.
Now let's look at the numbers. In 1965 both places sat around $500 per capita. Today Singapore clears $84,000. Malaysia sits near $13,000. Same climate, same starting line, one sixth the result.
The Singapore dollar holds its value because the Monetary Authority of Singapore manages it against a currency basket and refuses to print its way out of trouble. The ringgit has lost roughly two thirds of its value against the Singapore dollar since 1981.
You cannot subsidize your way to wealth. You cannot redistribute what you never let people produce. Every ringgit funneled through a quota is a ringgit some bureaucrat spent on his own vision instead of a customer's.
Malaysia bet on planners deciding outcomes. Singapore bet on people deciding for themselves. The gap between $84,000 and $13,000 is your answer.
Two hundred and fifty years ago, a group of colonists decided that a distant king had no business taxing their tea, their paper, or their labor. They were right. Read the Declaration again and notice what it actually protests: not vague injustice, but specific violations. Taxation without consent. Standing armies in peacetime. Trade cut off by decree. These were economic grievances, and the men who signed the document understood that liberty and property are the same thing viewed from two angles.
You have inherited that idea, though you would hardly know it from your tax code.
Consider what freedom bought. In 1776 the average person lived close to subsistence, as every human had since the Pharaohs. Then free markets, sound money, and secure property did their work, and real income exploded. Millions of people traded voluntarily and kept what they earned, without central planning.
The men in Philadelphia never authorized a central bank that would shave 96 percent off the dollar's value since 1913. They never voted you a bureaucracy that spends four dollars for every three it collects. Jefferson warned you about this exact outcome in his letters, and you filed the warning away.
Freedom is the concrete right to trade, save, build, and refuse. Guard the specifics and the abstractions take care of themselves.
Tulsi Gabbard just described the actual operating system of Washington and it’s somehow even dumber and more insulting than the conspiracy versions.
She needed one printed document for a 10 a.m. Oval Office meeting with the President. A mid-level staffer ... detailed from another agency ... decided he didn’t like what was on it, printed it anyway, then locked it in his desk and refused to hand it over. Her chief of staff went down. Her general counsel went down. Both got told to pound sand until the guy’s real boss at his home agency finally gave permission.
That’s the “deep state.” Not some secret society in a basement. Just some nobody with a desk drawer and a God complex who genuinely believed his personal veto outranked the Director of National Intelligence and the elected President of the United States.
This is what Gabbard means when she says they “thrive in the gaps between elections.” The voters pick a direction every four years. The permanent class decides which parts of that direction are even allowed to reach the Resolute Desk. They control the files. They control the information flow. And they’ve been doing it across administrations for decades because the only thing they actually answer to is each other.
The rest of us are just supposed to pretend the elections are real while these people quietly decide what the winner is permitted to know and act on.
Watch her whole speech if you want the full savage version. But the core truth is brutally simple: America votes. Then the people nobody voted for decide what happens next.

Here's how this unironically works.
The classical definition of pluralism is a democratic state that allows multiple parties to run for office.
But that's not how Western political scientists see it.
They see pluralism as a holistic set of public-private relationships that keep each other in check. For instance, a media outlet might be fact-checked by a public NGO.
Institutionally, this creates an ideologically narrow, conformist class as credentialism increasingly originates from whoever is educated by the "right" universities and professors.
That is why they can say with a straight face that truly independent media like @timcast or Joe Rogan are authoritarian - because they've found a way to gain credibility outside of this system of mutual-ideological-policing.
And because this so-called "pluralism" is dependent on government and nonprofit dollars alike, and also unfalsifiable (every pushback is a justification to double down on defeating misinformation), you get nonsensical end results such as this one.
In 2006, Al Gore released An Inconvenient Truth, a film that defined modern climate alarm.
He warned Greenland and Antarctica's ice would melt, driving seas high enough to put major cities underwater, saying that entire coastlines would have to be redrawn.
Eighteen years later though, none of it has happened, not even close.
Meanwhile, Gore has gotten very rich. While ordinary people were told to feel guilty and cut back, he built a fortune. He became the first climate billionaire. His wealth came from green investment funds such as board seats and advisory roles, 200k plus speaking fees and carbon credit trading.
Al Gore didn't save the planet, he monetized fear.
Let's get this straight:
The foreign-born leader of our nation's largest city--elected largely by foreign-born noncitizens--states he is going to stop federal law enforcement from enforcing federal law?
Even after a Supreme Court ruling?
Seditious conspiracy.
Insurrection.
🚨🧵 MAJOR BREAKING: German government has been grooming DSA leaders for over a decade, and nobody noticed? 🇩🇪
Last night, Darializa Avila Chevalier — endorsed by NYC-DSA (Democratic Socialists of America) — beat a five-term incumbent to win New York's 13th congressional district.
@AsraNomani has been reporting on their ties to Cuba and the China/Singham network. But what’s not known is DSA’s deep ties to the German government.
The Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung (RLS) is the political foundation of Die Linke — the German parliamentary party formed from the merger of the Party of Democratic Socialism, itself the legal successor to East Germany's ruling Marxist party, the SED.
Under German law, every party in the Bundestag gets a taxpayer-funded foundation. Die Linke's share is approximately EUR70MM annually.
Most German party foundations sponsor conferences, publish research, and fund exchange programs. What RLS-NYC did was put its own staff inside DSA's organizational leadership — concurrently — for over a decade.
In 2012, RLS opened a New York office. EIN 45-3658022. Their own annual report states: "With the help of funds from the BMZ and the Foreign Office, the Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung maintains a network of international relationships. This includes financing its foreign offices."
Over the last 13 years, Berlin has sent millions to this office.
Despite these ties, no FARA registration for the Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung was identified in the Department of Justice database.
As always, patience as I pull together the thread.👇
DOMINION AGREES to DISMISS $1.3 BILLION dollar lawsuit against @realMikeLindell.
An 5-year long, 800 page report & evidence of fraud from Dominion machines will be released today.
Voting machine companies are falling like dominos. This is why I fought every single day for election integrity.
The TRUTH will ALWAYS PREVAIL.
On this Summer Solstice of 2026, the six greatest threats to liberty and prosperity in the United States of America are as follows, ranked in order from most threatening to least (less) threatening:
1. Voting laws that make fraud generally impossible to prove in a court of law.
2. Failing to greatly reduce the size, scope and power of the unelected, unaccountable administrative state Leviathans at the federal and state levels.
3. Unchecked illegal immigration.
4. Mass immigration (both legal and illegal) of people from cultures who deny the basic rights of women and do not respect freedom of religion and freedom of speech.
5. Refusing to use America’s abundant, cheap oil and gas reserves in favor of expensive, wasteful, inefficient, landscape-destroying, species-killing, so-called “green” energy.
6. Social welfare programs for the able-bodied lazy.
Since Trump was elected we are making progress in these areas, but it’s not enough and will all get undone if Democrats somehow regain power. That’s why the 2026 and 2028 elections represent a binary choice between the doom or survival of the great American experiment. 🇺🇸
Why does the media give nonstop coverage to a 16-year-old reading from a script, but completely ignore a real climatologist with over 140 scientific papers who calls climate change a hoax? This is media manipulation. 😡🤡
#MediaBias
The plan of Marxist leaders:
1. Ensure that schools do not properly teach economics.
2. Create envy in the minds of economically illiterate citizens by asserting that there is a limited pie of national wealth and some people have too much of that pie.
3. Appoint themselves as the arbiters of wealth distribution and rely on the envy of the economically illiterate masses to achieve power.
4. Use that power to ensure that everyone is equally poor, except them of course because they deserve disproportionate wealth because of all the "responsibility" they shoulder.
5. Build that party dacha on the Volga River and eat caviar.
6. Profit.

With respect to @elonmusk they are somewhere between steps #2 and #3.
Hello Senator....
This November it will be 50 years since you were first elected to Congress, so we want to be the first to say .
"Happy 50th Anniversary of drawing a taxpayer funded salary."
That is quite an achievement.
In fact - you are 2nd longest-still serving member in Congress.
It has been a long time since you held a private sector job.
AND yes 50 years ago - in 1976 (it was America's Bicentennial that year) - people still punched clocks back then. The world has changed a lot.
During your 50 years in Congress - you watched as the creators and inventors and producers changed the world, creating trillions in new wealth, millions of new jobs and dramatically raising living standards for everyone rich and poor alike.
And for 50 years you have voted to raise taxes and regulate and oversee every move of the private sector.
You have never created or invented or produced. Just taxed and regulated and outraged.
But thank you for using the platform the "TRILLIONAIRE class" has provided to the entire world for free to tell us all how disgusted you are.
We would never know otherwise.
