@WestMidRailway With no alternatives and many road closures in Birmingham for the half marathon, it doesnt really leave many options for making the start line! Assume no replacement service?

@WestMidRailway I’m sorry, but that’s not true. There is no signs at the station whatsoever.. we’ve spoken to a member of staff at the station who told us to board the train to Solihull

@WestMidRailway Appreciate you don’t when the bus says, but it seems to say the next bus to Shirley is in 50 minutes. With a bit of luck that might get me home by 10:30 or 11? I think I’ll walk it’s only an hour.

@WestMidRailway Thanks for that. Now stuck at tyseley. Appreciate you can’t helps it if due to flooding, but clear comms at the station would help. I would have got the bus from town. Now stuck with a 10+ quid taxi bill that won’t be covered by a 1.50 delay repay payment.

It arrived at 20.40 and I’m on it but been told it’s not acruslllt stopping between tyseley and Stratford. Any alternatives to get to Shirley or yardely wood?
