2025 - WHAT. A. YEAR!!
I knew 2025 would be a test. When I decided to pivot in mid-2024, I didn't fully realize how much I'd have to give up. Sidelining my racing career for a year was just the tip of the iceberg; relocating my entire family from the US to Europe, all while developing a brand-new car and a brand-new team, pushed us to the absolute limit. It’s been a grueling journey, but seeing it all come together makes every sacrifice feel like a win.
You never truly know if a leap of faith will land until you’re on the other side. Looking back now, I am certain this was the right decision—not just for my professional growth, but for my family’s future as well. Getting to know so many brilliant, talented people has been the highlight of this journey. It has also been a true privilege to play a part in shaping Korean motorsports history and to say I work for such amazing brands in Genesis and Hyundai Motorsport.
While there's still a lot of work ahead of us, the foundation is laid, and the wait is almost over. 2026 can’t come soon enough.
