@HelenAWitty I plan to have evening / daytime alternately- so every other month- and will find obliging pub landlord for autumn/ winter so you will be able to join us sometimes
Excited ( and a bit nervous!) to offer local Hertfordshire women with ADHD the opportunity to gather for friendship and to share experience and workarounds. Bring your own lunch and chair! #adhdwomen#adhdwoman#adhdtribe#adhdfemale
Delighted that new kitchen arrived as I expected, builders running around saying they are surprised… showed me text I sent confirming date, I pressed 2 instead of 1 - they thought they had until 22nd! Thankfully they made it work & are familiar with the ADHD brain! #teamadhd
Patience is a tough one for us ADHDers - loved this meme from TotallyADD and it pleased me no end to think maybe Her Maj struggles too! Happy Friday ya'll! #adhdwomen#adhdwoman#teamadhd
Too ften this is how women ‘discover’ they have ADHD; after a lifetime of knowing they are ‘different’, wondering why. Raising awareness of the female experience is important as many parents and teachers typically ‘do not know what they do not know’. #adhdgirls#teamadhd
One of my clients compared me to a machete today; cutting my way through all the many ideas, worries and distractions helping her see the path forward to achieve her goals - a unique compliment! #adhdwoman#adhdwomen#adhdawareness
@AdhdMayhem I worry about young people taking this route when their brain not fully mature- and if they have ADHD this might not happen to late 20’s; cannabis can cause irreversible damage at this stage for some, so I do not think it worth the risk
V chuffed to be joining this crew for the #iamadhd virtual summit - brilliant line up of experts (not sure how I made the cut!) talking about various aspects of the female experience of #adhd
@JoSteer1@JKPBooks@Sean_JKP@ValerieIvens If you have not seen it yet; this is a really excellent book. I am not surprised the review is so good; the book is such an asset and is timely too, as it feels the ‘tide might be turning’ as awareness of the female experience of ADHD grows. Thank you!
