Remembering the first page of the first story I coloured for @2000AD back in early 2018.
Judge Death. Written by Leah Moore and art by Xulia Vincente.
Easily the most metal thing I’ve ever done. In life. Ever.

Space crime and punishment.
Wanted to make the space prison look rusted, almost Martian, in contrast with the slick blues and greens earlier on.
VIN-E, from a 2000AD futureshock earlier this year…
story: @JamesPeaty1575 , Art: Gary Welsh, colours by me.
Today’s colour warm up is a digital study of a beautiful oil painting, Marcsi, by Mary Beth McKenzie.
I cooled the colours and exaggerated that crisp blue line that separates the planes. The original (left) is a million times superior, but I’m still happy with this as a study.
Cover I coloured with line art by the lovely and brilliant @Emmavieceli for The Modern Frankenstein. A very cool and dark reimagining of Mary Shelley’s classic character.
Written by Paul Cornell
(Ed: @dentontipton and lettered by @SimonBowland )

Wish I could show you the next page too, but the mischievous fairy inside is kinda not dressed (why would he be?)
Three Little Wishes.
For @LegendaryComics last year.
Fantasy-comedy by Paul Cornell and Steve Yeowell. @simonbowland lettering. Colours by me
For someone who is a bit in love with the 60s, this was crazy cool.
Colouring the original 1960s art of Luis Bermejo. @britcomics Thriller Picture Library - THE JOHN STEEL FILES for @Rebellion
Great stories with beautiful art. Few years ago but still one of my favourites.

An escape from a prison that is built to bend your mind! The closer you get to freedom, the more twisted everything becomes TO KEEP YOU IN!
Altered Carbon: One life one death.
Art by @MaxFuchs
Colours by me, a couple of years ago
