Winter treatment🚛will prioritise our 32 primary routes again tomorrow. We've created a map🗺️, which we will be starting to update this afternoon, to show our known issues. This can be found here: https://t.co/GZwE4uU2Z6
Snow drifts continue to hamper progress this morning.
We have tractors out working in conjunction with our frontline gritters but primary roads are down to one lane in places.
Please take extra care, drive to the conditions. ❄️
Our crews have been continuing with footway and side road treatments this morning following on from the main roads which started around 05.30.
We'll divert our teams back to the primary road network at 16.00 in advance of further overnight snow. ❄️
With an amber alert having now been issued by the Met office, please take extra care when out. The amber is in place from 12:00 Friday until 12:00 Saturday. These conditions may mean we will have to keep treating the primary routes, impacting on secondary route treatments.
🚛Treatment Plan❄️
We’ll be gritting all 32 Primary Routes from 15:30 today, with another treatment at 05:30 tomorrow.
Pre-treatments on footways and secondary routes have been carried out today and will continue tomorrow from 07:00.
❄️ Are you winter ready?

Currently, our operatives are conducting a clear up operation post Storm Florin (where it is safe to do so) 🛣️🌳
Our Storm Florin map will be updated to reflect ongoing clean up operations https://t.co/LOJFTsDYRi🗺️
As we continue to experience the impact of Storm Floris, we are aware of a substantial number of roads being blocked by trees. Given the concerns around the safety of our operatives, they will not be removed until tomorrow. If you must drive then drive with care!#StormFloris
