Once the Queen passes why don’t we clean up our system. Become a republic, write a constitution that removes control of Parliament’s ethics from the Prime Minister and makes our leaders accountable for his/her actions. Introduce Proportional Representation to improve democracy.

Watching the new post truth world and am aghast with the brazen nature with which most Conservative MPs seem comfortable with telling lies straight to the camera and therefore to the electorate. What worries me more is that voters seem to accept this as acceptable. #ToryLies
