Our second Q in the LGBT+ acronym is for Questioning. There are many reasons why the LGBT+ community may encounter self-generated questions regarding their sexuality or gender identity. What matters is not the asking of questions but the finding our true selves as a result #pride

We return to the LGBT+ acronym today with the letter Q for Queer. For a long time queer was used negatively towards members of the LGBT community but has now been reclaimed, with pride. We love the empowerment this demonstrates we all have over our own identity and meaning.

Monday is here again and we’re pressing pause on our LGBT+ acronym review today in order to promote our charity partner, @andysmanclubuk. They run confidential, non-judgmental, peer-to-peer support groups for men every Monday from 7pm #itsokaytotalk

Another Yorkshire Pride event today @PrideBarnsley. Hope all who went had fun 🌈 Our continued exploration of the LGBT+ acronym has reached T for Transexual. Not always included as a letter, it traditionally refers to those who seek to permanently transition their gender.

Happy @RotherhamPride to our Yorkshire LGBT+ers and friends. Today’s LGBT+ acronym letter is T for Transgender - an individual whose internal sense of personal identity and gender is different to their birth sex. The transgender flag is 20 years old this year #equality #identity
