I can't deny that lately I find myself agreeing with a lot of the pop culture content creators on YouTube, some of which I've listed below. When it comes to the current state of pop culture it's unfortunately still a shit show.
Nothing is getting better. Most of it is still being ruined by political ideology and a perverse form of social justice.
I backed off following a lot of it because it was taking a toll on my health but I can't sit here and ignore it either. Not after the recent shit I've been seeing. π
My main focus is still video games but I will probably start commenting more on the pop culture stuff and eventually create an offshoot channel just to vent after I get my video game stuff going.
If you aren't already then follow these content creators, that's if you give shit about having a say in preserving the pop culture we all grew up with. Don't let it continue to get twisted around and ruined by a group of people who only want to use it to push an ideology down our throats that goes against the very essence of what made all of these shows, movies and games great to begin with.

Oh, I have no doubt. It's not like I was thrilled with either choice but I voted mainly due to amendment 3 and held my nose and voted straight Republican.
Anyone that thinks these Dem wins here in Florida were due to people suddenly believing Dems have better policies are delusional. They won by default.
Marjorie Taylor Greene joins @Timcast on election night and says she saw the Republican losses coming.
"Trump blew it. Totally betrayed campaign promises." -@mtgreenee
MTG sounds off on the Iran war, the Epstein files, and why she believes Republicans have failed their voters.
True. However, a lot of people here weren't dead set on punishing the party itself for the poor job Trump's has done.
You and others who broke off early from Trump need to get together and put a plan together to move forward. The MAGA brand and the Trump era needs to be a thing of the past. This whole era of "reality tv" politics needs to die. Independents like me want our political system to get back to the way it was. Discussing the issues without all the extreme rhetoric. Both sides. We need civility and candidates that can be civil and gracious when they lose.
This stink is all on Trump. His ego and inability to course correct when it was clear things were going in the wrong direction is what lead to all of this. Tarrifs, focusing on his stupid pet projects like the ballroom, needless trade wars, brushing off the Epstein Files like they weren't a big issue, starting a war with Iran after telling everyone we ended their nuclear program with a previous bombing, gaslighting the public with his continuous claims that prices were falling and finally his idiotic policy of giving Elon and the rest of these ultra rich tech bros free reign to build data centers and pursue artificial super intelligence at the expense of humanity itself.
If you want to blame the Republican Party itself for anything its that they stood there and did nothing. Both in passing good legislation and stepping in when necessary to save Trump from himself. Because when all is said and done Trump is his own worst enemy. The irony that the only person able to take down Trump was Trump is vey poetic and one for the history books.
I voted Republican and at least my state was smart enough to not punish the Republicans for the poor job Trump has done.
Golden Age? Only if it's Fools Gold.
@OsmenJesse@Nina7Infinity "Flaunting his money"......So, to you looking like you bathe on a daily basis or at least practice good hygiene is "Flaunting your money"? π€
Yeaaah....gotcha. ππ€£π€‘
Florida racist? π€ Our new first ever black governor.
"Liquor Talk".....Yeah, this twat is definitely wasted or suffering from brain damage from substance abuse.
@mmontuori@22savvy isn't even smart enough to come up with a clever response. They just repeat what I said and then run off like cowards. Typical X retard.
Stop. It's been less than 24 hrs and everyone's already curled up in a fetal position crying.
Why did the Dems win? Is it because everyone now believes the Dems have better policies? No! They won because Trump stabbed the people who voted for him in the back! These people, independents, just didn't become Democrats over night. All of this was just a big fuck you to Trump. People are over Trump. They aren't pro Democrat. So, get past this idea that the Dems are now somehow unstoppable. That's bullshit.
As an independent that votes Republican my advice for the fucking party is to stop kissing Trump's ass. Dump the MAGA branding and look to supporting candidates like DeSantis who actually have proof that their policies work.
Oh, and don't run to Florida. Stay in your own state and fight to change it back to red if it went blue. Florida is closed.
Keep in mind this blue wave was caused by people sending a middle finger to Trump. It's not like they suddenly decided the Democrats were the better option. They were just the beneficiaries of the anger aimed at Trump.
Wait 2 years and see where things stand. Hell, wait 1 year and people will already be tired of the Dems again.
There's not one state in this country that can't flip back and forth regardless of the bullshit either party tries to pull. Look at the gerrymandering the Republicans tried to pull. It didn't help at all.
Trump is 100% to blame for this and the Republicans need to quickly move past Trump. His chaotic era is over.
