@LoftinpaulPaul@steelernation You couldn't be farther from the truth.
- "Minor" pneumothorax doesn't require surgery.
- There are only 2 types of surgical fixes: 1) open surgery with chest tube - season over and 2) VATS - min 3-4 wks
- Pneumonia & pneumothorax have absolutely nothing to do with each other.
@JWIGGY301@VisibleThink Not sure where you saw that or who said it but ZERO chance he plays vs the Lions. Even if the surgery was a VATS procedure, it's 2-3 weeks before "normal" people are cleared for strenuous activity. If the surgery required a chest tube, he's done for the season......period.
@GMcLachlan98@RudisColby@nhlpens Goalies are screened all the time. If you're in position, you generally still make the save. He's not....a lot. He gave up 6 goals on 32 shots. Just excuses. He's gone in a couple weeks if not days.
@RudisColby@nhlpens Dude, c'mon. You're defending the indefensible. The defense wasn't great but you can't give up 6 goals in 32 shots. That's goaltending not defense. He won't make it until the end of the year. What then? You'll say Pens front office is stupid and Colby Nobody is smart?
@RapSheet You better check your "sources" and they better have about 8 letters after their name because no competent doctor is clearing him inside a month for full contact. NONE
@ThePoniExpress@937theFan There is ZERO chance Watt plays next week against the Lions either and if the pneumothorax surgery required a chest tube, he's done for the season. That surgery (even by VATS technique) for "normal" people requires no strenuous activity for 6-8 weeks.
@PatMcAfeeShow@JJWatt There is ZERO chance Watt plays next week against the Lions and if the pneumothorax surgery required a chest tube, he's done for the season. That surgery (even by VATS technique) for regular humans is no strenuous activity for 6 weeks.

@morsi12hotmail1@NFLonFOX@JJWatt Not "probably". He's 100% out against the Lions on 21st also and if the pneumothorax surgery required a chest tube, he's done for the year.
@RapSheet@nflnetwork He's 100% out against the Lions on 21st also and if the pneumothorax surgery required a chest tube, he's probably done for the year.
@PickensBurgh It's not "if" he's out. There is no question he is out. You don't just put a patch on a hole and off you go to take hits in a couple weeks. And if surgery required a chest tube, he may be done for the year.
