Making a will is important but so is making sure that the original is available to your chosen executor when the time comes so your estate doesn't fall into intestacy.
Everyone is comfortable and financially smart until there's a need to bury a loved one. Funeral costs are not cheap in North America. The sad reality across the board though is that litigation appears to be the most effective way of compelling these companies to pony up.
In this case I used the money claims service but it requires a UK address. Thing to note is you don’t actually have to live in the UK - you can use anyone’s address. Infact the processes aren’t even served by mail - the parties prefer to use electronic means.

If the claim relates to domestic travel in Canada it is now a recognized fact that going straight to small claims court is the fastest and most effective way to claim compensation because of huge backlogs at the CTA.
