Bloober Team has said itโs aware of the mixed reputation of some of its previous titles and that the company is done making โshittyโ games.

Posting about my current game dev projects over on the butterfly app. I actually get engagement and feedback over because people actually see my posts.
Mostly lurking here and post about inconsequential things until some government entity takes over and shuts it all down
If you're up for some crunchy psx indie horror
I made a short atmospheric thing for a game jam a few years ago.
It was a personal challenge to make it as crunchy looking as I could

Skeleton Trivia: If your Skeleton is on the outside, it is called an Exoskeleton.
When it gets into your house while you're sleeping, it's an Endoskeleton.
Silent Hill 2 Remake developer Bloober Team is open to making more remakes in the franchise or even a new Silent Hill game altogether. https://t.co/IfpqojrLMu
The thing I noticed about the remake is the levels are designed and signposted well enough that I pretty much knew my way around after the first 10 mins or so in each area.
But I still kept checking my emotional support map regardless.
average silent hill 2 gameplay: oh itโs right *opens map* yeah right *opens map* itโs there to the left i just need to go *opens map* to the left yeah i was right there it is *opens map* i got it
I was wondering how they got the lighting to hit so well and silhouette on his helmet to appear so rusty. I figured you couldn't do that stuff with normal mapping alone.
It's interesting how they got the topology right where they need it looking at the middle of the helmet.
It's also one of the best instances of gameplay, symbolism and narrative being completely and totally synchronised I've seen in a video game.
It is without hyperbole probably one of the best and most personally affecting sequences of any game I've ever played.
The new Abstract Daddy boss fight in the remake is a master class in crafting a genuinely terrifying horror game boss fight.
All of the boss fights have been improved on so much. If there's one area Bloober absolutely nailed, it's this.
@PimsCrypt If you can cope with my croaky post COVID voice I have videos going up on my YouTube soon that's a playthrough I did for friends, where I'm gonna talk about it all and much more than I can link to you. Its me looking at the whole thing through a Jungian psychologist lens
