@cruciblecrush Kenyon was absolutely battered over his sexist remarks from years ago and Burnham hoping to use this by-election as a stepping stone to number 10. Pretty much summarises things.
❤️🗣️ Gabriel Magalhães on missing the decisive penalty in the Champions League final:
“I felt terrible. I felt like I had let my teammates down. For a moment, I felt worthless.
But what happened afterwards surprised me. The love and support from Arsenal fans was beyond anything I could have imagined.
The staff, my teammates, everyone at the club stood by me. But the fans were incredible. They bought my shirt, shared messages of support, created pictures and videos, and flooded social media with encouragement.
They reminded me that mistakes are part of football and that one moment does not define a person or a season.
I will never forget the love you showed me during one of the hardest moments of my career.
Thank you, Arsenal family. ❤️
🚨Josh Kroenke’s words after yesterday’s parade hit different ❤️ He Said…..
🗣️With what I witnessed yesterday night in London, I think we need this every year.”
🗣️I will do all it takes, provide everything needed, do all that I need to do without hesitation.”
And then he said it with full chest: “I believe we are currently the best club in England, with no doubt.🥰
Seeing him on that bus singing, holding the trophy high, wearing that brothers Saliba/Gabriel shirt you could feel it. He’s not just the owner anymore… he’s one of us. Living the dream with the fans who stayed loyal through everything.
This is the standard now. Proper love from the top. We deserve this energy every season.
COYG 🔥🏆❤️ Who else got goosebumps reading his words?
@piersmorgan We were on our way to the parade and a Man U fan shouted ‘on your way to the 2nd place parade’! I just laughed and said, actually, last time I checked we were champions! 🤣🤣
@Hillsygooner@SameOldAFC Cheers for the ‘heads up’. I was at the Emirates on Sunday evening and it was total chaos. Police blockading various exits. People standing on top of police vans and also trying to slide underneath the vans to get through! lol
@piersmorgan@CPFC It’s not about luck, it’s about having money to burn and having the kind of access that’s way out of reach for most fans as a result. Fair play though, as I understand it’s fully about the money these days. It’s the way of the world. 👍
@timstillman_@DarrenArsenal1 I hear of others, not even of an Arsenal persuasion, get tickets for Arsenal mens games on a corporate basis or have friends do them a ‘favour’. Prawn sandwich brigade. Real fans don’t matter anymore: it’s all about the money! 2/2
@timstillman_@DarrenArsenal1 Agree 100% with Tim here. However, it’s true what you say Darren. Have known for a long time that top level football is no longer the average working persons sport in terms of gaining access. I’ve been wanting a season ticket for many years, but have no chance. 1/2
@RoxyD27 Lovely tribute Roxy. I’ve really missed chatting with Lou on here. She had even helped me with some neck exercise tips as I struggle with neck pain at times. I know Lou will be looking down with the widest smile you could imagine today. ❤️
