Distribution: This is the most important. Being within a walking distance of their ICP. Like the Redeem Church model, having a Bokku branch within 5 mins walking distance. Some areas have two Bokku stores on the same road.

The Name (Bokku): it’s just culturally relevant in a market like ours. The average person is looking to get the best deals for the naira they have.
The patronage Bokku has isnt because their bread is great. The stores are just closeby. People walk to the place. Why Shoprite refused to do this is unclear, maybe someone else has the answers
But those big, sell-everything stores in sachetised Nigeria was never sustainable...
Designed for social proof: Bokku buildings remind me of GTBank structures. Open and not behind gates. The windows allow you to see what’s going on inside.
Also, ever wondered why the place customers pack their groceries is the one facing outside? That’s enough social proof that
