i built a website where you can sit at elizabeth holmes’ desk
open her macbook, scroll her iphone, run the theranos edison machine
her texts, emails, slides, documents, and theranos machine records are real, sourced from exhibits in the united states v. holmes criminal trial
“Big Naturals”
I love it when a joke post turns into a full cosplay. Yes, I made a female version of Withers with the best mod 💅
It was entirely handmade: natural materials, painting, weathering, latex and silicone

The whole point of art, in fact the point of engaging with another person's thoughts in any capacity, is to expand your very limited individual perspective on the world, not to live in a tiny box perfectly catered to your adolescent personal tastes
No, this isn't the new Taylor Swift album cover. I've cleaned-up this remarkable colour photo, taken 113 years ago in August 1913, a year before the First World War. It is a portrait of 16-year-old Christina Bevan at Durdle Door in Lulworth, Dorset. It was taken by Lt-Colonel Mervyn O’Gorman using an early colour glass-plate process and isn't colourised.
This was one of the first Autochromes I cleaned up for Twitter and I share it again with you because it is such a beautiful image 😍
This ancient greek tombstone, adressing passersby in first person, describes the death of Aphrodisios, who died "the most pathetic death" because of his wife, "a dirty adulteress" and her secret lover, "who threw me from the heights like a discus"
This little girl is Adelaide Springett, one of Horace Warner’s Spitalfields Nippers, photographed around 1901 when she was eight years old.
Warner pictured Adelaide in what he called “all her best clothes”, but she was barefoot. Her boots were in such a terrible state that she was too embarrassed to wear them for the photograph. Warner also photographed them and tagged them “Little Adelaide’s best and only boots.”
Adelaide knew real poverty. In 1901 she and her mother were living in a Salvation Army shelter in Hanbury Street, Spitalfields.
But the barefoot little girl survived those desperately hard beginnings. Adelaide lived until 1986, reaching the age of 93.
Two photographs that tell an extraordinary story of childhood poverty, and survival.
