becomes harder to deal with. At the end of January I will be leaving Portland and moving to Hollywood at some point in February.
I hope Alice and I will see all of you in Portland before we leave. Thanks again for all the help everyone!
With a heavy heart, I have decided to leave Portland and move to Los Angeles to be closer to family and friends to help support Alice in this time. I think this is the right move for us right now, and I think this will provide the most comfort for Alice as the cancer becomes
to New York at this point. The move would simply be too much for her, and when it comes down to it, I want to be able to spend time with her in what could be our last time together without feeling stressed out and pressured with new jobs and a bigger moving process.
would be a nice change for Alice and I, and frankly, I would be able to make a bit more money and advance my career in ways I wanted to.
Alice's condition has changed these plans and is still changing these plans. I will not be accepting these positions and I will not be moving
my plans and priorities.
Recently, I accepted a position studying at CUNY and teaching at City College of New York. I also accepted a position editing (internship) for a major publishing company in New York. When I thought Alice was healthy enough, I figured going back East
to expect in the future. It could be weeks, it could be months. We have our good days and our bad days, our good walks and our bad ones.
This has been one of the most difficult times for me in what otherwise has already been a difficult year. It has forced to me to reevaluate
Thank you so much to everyone who has donated money and sent your good wishes to Alice and I in this tough time. We both really appreciate it. She is responding to her medications and is in more comfort than she was, but it's pretty unclear what phase of cancer we are in and what

So lots going on today: yes, subway is biting our style, not that it matters, and yes, we’re making a meat carrot. But here’s the big thing: our spokesman will never stick that meat carrot in a bunch of kids.
Eat Arby’s.
