Schools should be focused on teaching kids how to think, not what to think. Classrooms must be an impartial learning environment that prioritize teaching fundamentals like reading, math and science and support students in developing their own opinions and views.
Our students and educators need to be safe in the classroom. We will be strengthening the Education Act to protect them from incidents of violence and aggression with clear standards and expectations. School boards will be held accountable if those standards are not followed.
On April 1st 38 million Canadians will get a 23% increase on the carbon tax, while 457 million other people living on the same piece of land pay nothing, yet our Government tells us we're altering the worlds climate with it.
Good one.
BREAKING:
The Alberta and Canadian governments have reached a historic agreement that will unleash the Alberta energy sector, create tens of thousands of jobs, and attract billions in new investment.
This deal includes the potential for an additional 1.4 million barrels-per-day in pipeline capacity to the west coast, almost tripling Alberta oil exports to Asian markets.
Ottawa has also agreed to drop the oil and gas production cap and suspend the Net-Zero power regs, so Alberta can focus on reducing emissions through our TIER system and world-leading CCUS technology instead.
Although this is a massive win for Alberta and Canada, we will still hold the federal government accountable for keeping their end of the bargain.
There’s a lot of work left to do so let’s roll up our sleeves and get the job done Alberta!

There’s no sugarcoating it.
This hurts.
We gave it our all.
It may take some time to feel it, but there’s lots to be proud of in this Silver medal Montana’s Brier run.
And we’re so thankful for all the support we’ve received across Canada from our fans, family and sponsors.
Congrats to @TeamBradJacobs on your win.
Go Team Canada.

Did you know it’s easier for Canadian provinces to trade with European countries than with each other?
It’s time Canada eliminates interprovincial trade barriers so that Canadian families, businesses, and our national economy can weather this incoming trade dispute with the U.S.. We need more pipelines and we need to repeal irresponsible federal legislation like C-69 to unlock the full power of Alberta energy for the benefit of every single Canadian.
It’s time for Team Canada to get serious about our domestic energy security, nation building, and growing our economy.
I join Premier Tim Houston @TimHoustonNS on his request to immediately approve the Energy East pipeline.

Rental giant Hertz dumps EVs, including Teslas, for gas cars
Clearly EVs are not THE answer.
They have a role. But not what governments are pressing. https://t.co/1mmOWXTM9c
