If there’s one thing I hope people take away from this, it’s that it’s never too late to chase something you’re passionate about. The path might look different than it did years ago, but the dream can still be alive.

I got asked at Regionals in Prague if I’d ever go pro again. My answer is no.

Not because there’s anything wrong with chasing greatness in this game—I respect everyone grinding for that dream. I lived it, and I’m grateful for it.

But the greatest lesson my journey gave me is this: success means nothing if your identity only lives in wins, titles, or recognition. Those moments fade.

The happiness I found becoming a husband and a father gave me something competition never could. Watching my daughter grow, having an amazing mother for her, and sharing life with my soulmate is a feeling words can’t fully describe.

To everyone chasing it: go all in on your dreams—but never forget to build a life outside the game too.

Sometimes the biggest wins happen after the game.
