@_VoC__ A good pair of precision tweezers is such a useful tool that doesn’t get enough recognition. I use them all the time whether it’s for my hobbies, personal hygiene, first aid, and yet they are woefully under-represented in the market.
Everyone wants to EDC a gucci knife made with MagnaCut, a 2000 lumen flashlight, a gun, and a bunch of other cool gear worth hundreds of dollars
A small pair of tweezers in your pocket will probably get 100x more use on a day-to-day basis for 99% of people though tbh
@_VoC__ True but again there aren’t too many great options with what are probably the most widely useful tools: scissors and tweezers
Victorinox has some I guess but most brands have like “69-in-1” multitools for $200 and not a single precision tweezer or decent scissors
Working for a corporation be like
“Yea we can’t give everyone raises this year, and we can’t afford to give everyone on your team a Salesforce license, but we are happy to announce that we just invested 15 gorillion dollars in AI ✨ “
Directors and VPs love to ignore your emails/reports all day and then finally reply and ask follow up questions at 4:42PM (you have to respond right away)
Inventing a device or a system, where if someone double parks or parks really crooked, as soon as they lock the door after getting out the car explodes.
You have to survive on PB&Js and potato chips as a 28 year old man so that we can send another $15,000,000,000 to Israel and boomers can collect social security from their $1M McMansions.
Loaf of bread = $5
Peanut butter = $4
Jelly = $4
18 pack of chips = $12
Bag of apples = $5
Total = $30
And you'll have lunch for an entire week or two. $2-4 average per day.
Inflation isn't the problem. Your spending habits are.
“He’s driving 3 miles down the road? Bring out all the people that just learned to drive an hour ago. Make the red lights last for 15 minutes. Once the light turns green, have someone stopped in the middle of the intersection so he can’t get through. Make the drive take an hour.”
@ReignEnjoyer I’m sure you’re right and what you’re saying makes sense to me but it’s still preposterous that the fuel efficiency difference between all gas and hybrid 4WD is basically negligible lol what is even the point
Maybe it’s just my lack of engineering knowledge, but I don’t understand how my naturally aspirated V6 from 2020 still gets better gas mileage than some modern hybrid engines. How are 4Runner and Tacoma hybrids still getting like 23mpg combined? Wtf
