🍻 Solidarity with the good people of Birmingham trying to get a pint in as their city faces the catastrophic consequences of climate collapse — fuelled by our government’s issuing of over a hundred new oil and gas licences.
Yesterday, we cleaned up Doljo Beach in #panglao#bohol and removed 106 kgs of non biodegradable trash. Grateful to all the volunteers, and to @BellevueResort for being an amazing host as always.
Cleaning beaches won’t solve the problem but it’s a good way to raise awareness.
Election day is over. To all political candidates, win or lose, you must clean up your mess. Plastic Free Bohol hopes that you remove tarpaulins, banners, posters, and all forms of campaign materials from streets, electric posts, or every inch of public space. #Halalan2022
The time of fossil fuel subsidies is over.
Coal must be phased out. Carbon should be given a price.
This must be the year of a great leap towards carbon neutrality.
