Time to introduce our second #PLATIAL'26 keynote talk by Alice Butler-Warke. The keynote will examine how negative reputations of places develop, become entrenched, and are maintained. Several interrelated sub-processes will be considered: naming, shaming, and blaming.

We are thrilled to announce #PLATIAL26 to take place in beautiful Salzburg from 16 to 18 September.

We are seeking short papers and mini workshop proposals on place and platial information from both applied and theoretical perspectives.
