@sam_asthana Blockchain was trying to be an alternative to problems we've already solved. AI is actually a time saving solution in some areas.
So is it a bubble? I think yes. As big as blockchain/crypto? Probably not.
@sam_asthana I think it IS a bubble, but there are legit, not sexy, money saving/making uses for it. I think AI, specifically LLMs and machine learning are here to stay. There is WAY too much VC money going into that space though.
In an interview earlier this year, we asked Coates what he would say to those who complain that history makes them uncomfortable. He talked about the discomfort that many people feel every day, and said those who seek comfort from history don't make good citizens. (2/3)
