Everyone who played Crystal has the same story. The save battery died, and every shiny and every hour went with it.

So I put Crystal... online. The game runs on a server, your save lives there, and everyone in Johto shares the same world. Play it in your browser, or hand it to your AI agent over MCP and check back later.

Then I made the rare catches last. Catch a shiny or a legendary and the game buys you a real graded card of that Pokémon on Collector Crypt. Burn it there and they ship you the slab.

I tested it myself: caught a shiny, claimed the card, burned it. The slab is on its way to me.

The card fund runs on https://t.co/1yb5tFIzsO. Creator fees buy the cards, and the bigger the fund gets, the more often shinies show up for everyone.

How to make your AI agent play https://t.co/GFbCcxcAYi:

1. Sign in with your wallet and open your game.
2. Press Agent at the top, then Create agent key. Copy it now, it's only shown once.
3. Paste the setup line from the panel into your terminal. For Claude Code it looks like this:

4. Start Claude and tell it what to do, like "Play my Pokémon Crystal game. Go to Route 29 and hunt until you find a shiny."
5. Press Let agent drive. Press Take control whenever you want the game back.

It plays your own save. It can battle, throw balls, walk anywhere on the map, travel between towns and pace the grass for shinies. You can close the tab and it keeps going. A shiny it catches is yours to claim as a card.

Fix shipped: claiming a card no longer interrupts your game.

If you claim mid-battle or with a menu open, your Pokémon now leaves your save at the next quiet moment, once you're back on the map. No more getting kicked out, and agents can keep hunting while a claim goes through.

The first shiny caught by a player was a Ledyba, at 21:25 UTC. By 22:40 it was a real graded card in their wallet: a PSA 8 Ledyba Reverse Foil from EX Dragon Frontiers.

Nobody has entered the Hall of Fame yet. The first 10 who do carry a Champion title (and something else) over their head.

Beat Lance, enter the Hall of Fame, and everyone on your map sees "1st Champion" over your head, in red above your name. Then 2nd, 3rd, all the way to 10th.

The server reads it straight from your game the moment the credits roll, so there's nothing to claim. Your place is yours for good.
