@Chase_247_ That’s a great question, I recon after a certain point (such as a tutorial area/ island) you’re free to go through the game in co op mode. From the few views of the map my guess is it’s something like the open world Zelda’s so you can explore x ammount of islands /areas at a time
@SmolAltNoko It doesn’t even look that far away in that first picture I wonder where our base of operations comes in
Surely we find our main base before the exploration bot?
Timer? Hella hoops? Seems like an octo expansion level to me, get through all the hoops before the timer runs out then boom some loot at the goal? Regardless super cool environment
One member of Deep Cut will accompany you on raids by riding in the Bot. Not only will they shoot ink at foes, but they'll also provide support by launching you into the air or drilling into the ground. #SplatoonRaiders
I love the splatoon series but this is just a splatana as a sub weapon😃 and considering you can most likely also modify weapons I don’t get why they wouldn’t just have a splatana you can modify as a main weapon
Salmonids sometimes drop Gadget Parts that you can use to upgrade or modify your gadgets in a wide variety of ways. Increase your gadgets' range, power, or abilities—whatever works for you!
@BeeFun__ I mean to be fair salmon run would lag at times on the switch so assuming you face more enemies at the same time the switch probably couldn’t handle the sheer amount of things that could be going on
@veegee290 Or perhaps prior explorers didn’t survive and left behind what they used to explore..
Depends on how dark of a tome Nintendo wants the game to have 🧐
@s23charlie That’s a good point perhaps the dungeons are just extra difficult areas, or like you said they’re designed differently , perhaps with a combat focus instead of (as much) exploration
@Ari_Octo Do you think the gadget parts that drop are completely random or there’s like a set amount/pool of them that you can randomly find like in side order with the chips mid run
Side order was pretty damn entertaining and that was almost 10x less in size than raiders, I don’t think it’ll end up boring or lacking in content at alll
Even the open world Zelda games aren’t 20gb
Raiders will have content, so how will they avoid it becoming repetitive or easy?
An interesting thing is the star and slot system, perhaps the power up strength is only influenced by the number of stars, since there are multiple slot values under each amount of stars, or perhaps stars increase strength and (can) lower slot cost
@teamshiguma@mattstat7160 I mean there are gadgets now which replace sub weapons, as for the functionality, I’m sure there’s one we haven’t seen that functions similarly to a bomb but is still different and new
@Sunne_Three@iheartheartssss Considering they had side order to test with
And however long it’s been in development, I’m sure play testing and other things have been done to make the core gameplay loop more enjoyable than just what appears to be single player side order salmon run balancing is a concern tho
