more kindness 🇸🇰🇺🇸🇬🇧 📍DMU

Things should have been approached differently , people are suffering and have been for a while. I commend universities for the action they are taking to make things as normal as possible but it isn’t enough.❤️

And even more importantly , with little to no mental health support. Therapy waiting lists are months long , university mental help is sparse and lacking in detail ... I hate to think about those in truly dangerous situations who can’t get mental health support right now.

We have pre lectures (often over 1hr 39 mins long) , lectures (either 1hr or 2hr) , assessments and deadlines constantly , practise exams , all from home , with no social contact from coursemates (because we can’t see them. I’ve hardly met any of mine)

Able to gain help on because the lecturers were not answering their emails over the break (understandable , but there should have been some way to access help) , my coursemates have said many many times about suffering with breakdowns , mental health spikes and stress.

After some conversations with my course mates today it really is clear how much students are being neglected during the pandemic. My personal tutor hasn’t contacted me to check up since November of last year , we were set an assignment over Christmas holidays that we weren’t

Jesus does not wait until we are good to love us, but gives Himself freely to us.

Words can’t sum this up. So sad. Another amazing person taking from this cruel world. When will people and and press release celebrities are humans, with the same feelings everyone else has. Can’t believe to imagine the pain. God bless Caroline and her family. Rest tight 😢 💔

[The X Factor @TheXFactor]

We are absolutely devastated by this tragic news. Caroline was a much loved member of The X Factor family and a huge part of its success over the years. We send our deepest condolences to her family and friends.

Tabloids will never hold themselves accountable in any shape or form for any death. I feel very sad for those who write these terrible articles simply for clickbait and a wage at the end of the year.

Caz... 💔😣 fuck this hurts! My heart is forever broken.. I’ve lost something today that I’ll never ever get back.. and that’s you.

From the first moment we met in Birmingham 2011 and had literally 10mins to say hello, get mic’d up and head out to work together on Xtra.....

Kobe was truly larger than life, a legend. May he and all those who lost their lives today rest in peace. Love and condolences to his family. LA will never be the same.

[Grayson Dolan @GraysonDolan]

A conversation I had earlier with a half asleep Ethan

Me- “It’s raining pretty hard outside”

E- “Yeah? How do you know?”

Me- “Because i’m looking outside and I see rain Ethan”

E- “You always have ALL the answers.. such a know it all”

?

[Ethan Dolan @EthanDolan]

This is devastating.. I’m in shock. Wow. He inspired so many people.. my heart is broken for his family. His daughters.. this is so sad.
Rest In Peace Kobe 💜

[Barack Obama @BarackObama]

Kobe was a legend on the court and just getting started in what would have been just as meaningful a second act. To lose Gianna is even more heartbreaking to us as parents. Michelle and I send love and prayers to Vanessa and the entire Bryant family on an unthinkable day.
