@SarahJAnderson Yes completely agree. Seems to be a decision from people far removed and out of touch with fostering. This would upset so many of my carers and it just validates the thing people have been saying for years about lack of understanding and recognition of the demands of fostering.

@_LisaCherry Yes, just a recommendation from the care review a couple of years ago. Unless its been suggested again in a different review. I can't see it happening completely, maybe a change. I'd like to see them more independent of the LA which can vary a lot.
