As someone going into education, I can't imagine how difficult it is for those who learn English as a second language. There are so many tricks and trip ups we take for granted.

I mean, how are they supposed to learn that the letter "X" is pronounced "twih-tur"?

My summer job plays a lot of workout remixes of pop songs, usually I completely zone them out, not hard to do, no sweat.

I know there's a whole thing about whether or not you should tip at restaurants that aren't like traditional waiter/waitress places, and as someone who's been in those jobs for years I get it whatever.

However

There is NOTHING more insulting than someone saying "the rest is a tip :)" and it's 2¢. Either tip or don't tip.

"Keep the change" is different. You don't want coins, that's cool neither would I. But labeling it as a tip means that's what you think our service is worth.
