@marktheman2010 @BackyardLarder @pvt_ak I wouldn’t buy off EBay then. I got mine for about £8 at first. Maybe £10 for my second set. And that was from a higher-priced garden centre.
@pvt_ak@lovely_plot My neighbour had a wild-sown one on his plot last year, with over 30 heads… weight brought it down in the end. But I was so envious. I’m in for the challenge.
@lovely_plot I have just nipped to Chinatown for promising ginger and turmeric. Picked up some eddoes too which have good foliage when growing. Not sure if the tubers multiply though.
I do hope you will watch our Forbidden Art BBCTwo tonight (Thursday) at 9.00 pm. A cornucopia of art from the classic to the contemporary -- focussing on the changing history of what makes us feel uncomfortable, what gets forbidden, by whom. Apologies for the shots of me here!
@layingthetable@jennybowring1 I’m not sure I could ever do such a complicated pattern. I frogged my last cushion cover. Reused yarn for this creation. Still need to weave in some black vertical/horizontal lines. I’m now doing back in simple double crochet in the green.
I’ve found winter nights crocheting quite therapeutic. Stops me drinking AND binge watching… but I’m wondering who else will find the mistake in this tartan cushion cover… (Interweaving yet to be done!)
