@prembhaaii To be fair, Government had promoted adoption of hybrid cars offering subsidies. Maruti misused the scheme to the core, by branding a start/stop system as "Hybrid" and milked it away.

Bureaucracy doesn't forgive. They now view real hybrids from a punitive perspective.
