Alexa eavesdropped on me on the phone. I said to my friend, "So I said, 'Alexa, play such-and-such song,'" and the next thing I knew Alexa replied, "Playing Such-and-Such by Drake." It's a real song.

Airline pilot friend told me he likes telling people he "drives an 18-wheeler" when asks what he does for a living. That's because a 747 has 18 wheels. He asked me if I knew that, and I said no.

@BJNicholls2 Also, this book got lots of 5-star ratings at Amazon so I kept thinking "maybe it's me" -- sounds like a bad relationship and it is. But I identify with the "duty" part of finishing a book.

After not enjoying the previous 100 or so pages, I made the ultimate decision to stop reading a book. I tell myself that this reading is supposed to be pleasurable, not like a homework assignment, but it's still hard to give up on a book, but I did. Even deleted it from my Kindle

My college roommate/best friend was interviewed by local DC ABC TV station on being pro-DC statehood. She sent me the clip saying, "I think they wanted to show an old lady," and I said that she looked gorgeous and sounded brilliant and she did.

Trying to keep up with technology, but I still can't do the "photograph the check" for my banking app and then ripping up the check. Constitutionally I'm incapable of ripping up a check!
