We are seeing tech companies offer less generous salaries and perks due to the lack of confidence in economy. People are worrying that this will undo the workplace diversity they fought hard for. Let’s protect the brighter future we believe in.

Sometimes being laid-off is not a sign of your incompetency, more often than not, it is solely the math behind company profitability. Plus10 is here to support you and help you get back on your feet during this difficult time.

At Plus10, we hold the same philosophy. Dysfunctional management style creates harm to your employee productivity and the cost to revenue is always hidden and might be bigger than you expect. Value your employees, don't wait until it's too late.
Employees are not resources to manage. They’re humans to value.
Bad managers only care about your results. Good managers care about your well-being. Great managers care more about your well-being than your results.
We do our best work when leaders put people above performance.
Less investment in start-ups means hiring teams are navigating new challenges with tighter budget and the same level of expectation on quality hires. We are seeing longer hiring time and more negotiation happening in tech recruiting atm. https://t.co/bASmrYCeRk via @etechbrew
@HRecruit As recruiters we can say we don’t generally look at the tagline! Having a good overview on your about section is definitely where it’s at. We like jokes too 😎
@shreyas - Engineers often appreciate being involved in product decisions
- Aligning on roles/responsibilities per project for PM/Eng can be valuable
- Not all engineers are comfortable with ambiguity. Any PM help reducing it (e.g. over-communication) is great
- Sharing credit is welcome
It's so important to learn how to be your #1 advocate when looking to advance your career.
Don't wait for your company to notice your progress and reward you for it. Track it yourself.
The bias that gets folks pretty much every time?
Knowledge bias: assuming that just because you know it, then it will make sense to others.
This alone can block you from helping customers:
• Discover the product
• Decide it will help them
• Become a paying customer
As recruiters, we LOVE it when candidates tell us how their interviews went, especially when they have constructive feedback! That's how we know what's going well and how to improve the candidate experience 💪
