@ChuckGarfien I think the problem with baseball is the draft. Football has stars before they enter the NFL. So does the NBA. Why would MLBPA care because their draft is, at best, a maybe. Even if you have the #1 pick you need to wait a few years before they matter. No urgency.

@aliwhitesox I work at a college now, get payed better than most. I work my ass off, but I’m amazing at what I do. My path was ridiculous to get to this point. Trust in you, and work on you. It’ll take time, but you can do it.

@aliwhitesox I graduated as a teacher in 2008… everyone around me was getting pink slipped. For two years I applied to hundreds of jobs, but situation was bad. Too many experienced people. Keep an eye open for alternative options. I’m way better off now. System sucks in the mean time.
