@RKzHanuman@Dumbo6776@verstappenews@simplyloveIymax The comeback happened because Horner already had the upgrades in the pipeline. Mekies only took over and rode what horner started lmao.
Horner wanted to sacrifice 2025 for 2026.
@MManitoba37412@NoahGairn What even are you going on about?
You don't even know why we don't have mixed fighter fleet, our policies are completely different other countries, and our personnel shortage is even worse. Most countries have double the personnel, and train differently based on that.
@kylegolsen@NoahGairn I kinda hate when people who have never worked on aircraft call F-35s hangar queens/kings. You don't have over a million worldwide flight hours sitting in a hangar. They sit in a hangar because they flew so much they hit a ton of maintenance.
@MManitoba37412@NoahGairn 3rd world countries didn't ignore their military for decades lol.
Our military has been ignored for decades and used only in politics.
This is the results.
@Derek_Love_@NoahGairn Probably split between Cold lake and bagotville.
Though they won't take any deliveries until they build more hangars.
You need at least 2-3 more hangars per base to house that many fighters. techs and pilots also won't just uproot their lives and move to europe lol
@RCAF_TACNAV@NoahGairn A4 won't change anything because of risk.
with our current policies, it mitigates flight safeties, even though we get a good amount.
Some trades will get overwhelmed with work and bi-annual recertifications working two different airframes.
@That80sG@NoahGairn Yup, that is what I meant.
They send the first few to Luke for training, and the next few go to Canada (Cold lake and then bagotville)
that's around 2028-2030.
@That80sG@NoahGairn First few F-35s land in Canada around 2028.
All 88 supposed to be done by 2032, where by then we should have enough per squadron to fly mostly F-35s.
Look at the sea king to Cyclone transition, it was messy, but fairly fast.
@thenoodlecanon@NoahGairn I really don't think you understand what RCAF techs do.
We maintain and service the aircraft and do troubleshooting. Techs don't customize aircraft, thats what engineers do.
Techs want the latest as it transfer over to civilian side, and L3 and LM pays a good salary.
@That80sG@NoahGairn Lol no
They send techs and pilots small portions at a time, the tech comes back, gets their CF-18 quals rescinded and keep their F-35 quals.
