i think we cherry pick when we respect artists boundaries or not and how far, its okay to not like it or want it normalized but people should charge extra for whatever they want. without limits.

if they don't wanna draw darker people or fat people or anything they don't normally do or wanna charge extra for it, I don't like it but it's their prerogative.

Dearest Gentle Reader,

It is rather fascinating to watch a situation unfold when names were never mentioned, accusations were never directed, and yet somehow certain individuals immediately recognized themselves within the conversation.

A curious phenomenon indeed.

What I find particularly interesting is that it took one person acting in good faith to raise a concern when similar opinions have been expressed before without incident. We have had private conversations in the past. Opportunities for clarification existed long before today.

And yet, here we are.

Since some members of society appear determined to misunderstand the matter, allow me to simplify it.

First.

The discussion was about the judges.
Nothing more.
Nothing less.

I understand reading comprehension is not always the ton's strongest skill, but I felt the distinction was worth repeating.

Second.
I spoke with Jayla and made it abundantly clear that it was an opinion. An opinion. Not a declaration of war, not an attack, and certainly not the grand conspiracy some have attempted to invent.
I even suggested that if there were concerns, a private conversation would have been far more productive, particularly considering we have spoken privately before.

Third.
I informed the individual (jaylas so) involved that if there was a matter requiring further discussion, it should be directed to Lotus rather than myself. The correspondence exists should anyone feel compelled to verify it.

Fourth.
Several people present during the stream openly acknowledged that the situation was strange.
So if those present recognized the issue, what exactly is the debate?

Fifth.
Why would I willingly seek out the very people who publicly ridiculed my friend in the first place?

Surely that cannot be a serious question.
And finally, let us be honest.

The only people truly responsible are those who participated in the behavior, many of whom have already apologized and moved forward.

Yet somehow, there remain spectators determined to keep the performance going long after the curtain has fallen.

For what purpose, I wonder?
At a certain point, continuing the argument ceases to be advocacy and becomes little more than a hobby.

I therefore humbly suggest that those with no new information, no meaningful involvement, and no genuine solution consider allowing the matter to rest.
After all, endless noise has never transformed itself into wisdom.
