NEWS: In past years we'd just be finishing a week of #PlymFringe - obviously that's not the case this year.
This is as good a time as any for a bit of an update from us, regarding the future...

Whilst #PlymFringe takes a break, we'd like to direct you towards our friends @plymperformance for all your Plymouth fringe performance festival needs. Be a part of the conversation, and get on board with a great group of independent artists making something happen!
It's our friends @KillTheCatCo's last day @TRPlymouth today, with #TALK - an interactive game-show, science/social experiment, interactive theatre installation experience. If you enjoyed their show The House Never Wins at #PFF20, then book for this! https://t.co/rL7oG6BrOT
Lots of love to our friends over at @ExeFringe. We completely recognise the challenges of capacity with regards to running a festival, and the amount of unseen work required to make things happen. Running a festival is hard work, so hope they enjoy a well-earned rest this year.
At Exeter Fringe we’ve taken a few months to reflect and (sort of) rest after our 2021 Festival last October.
We’ve decided that we won’t be producing a festival in 2022. There’s a mix of reasons behind this, but the main one is capacity.
ACTORS! Our excellent #PlymFringe friends @DownStageWrite1 are looking for SW based actors, to perform a number of LGBTQ+ monologues to be filmed in Nov/Dec. Could you be right for one of these roles?
CASTING!
We're looking for four south west based actors for filmed lgbtq monologues!

Plymouth is a wonderful place, and nothing which has happened in the last 24 hours can change that. We’re proud that our city is friendly, welcoming and close-knit, and alongside everyone else we offer our love and support to those affected by the tragic events in Keyham 💚🤍🖤

This time last year, with venues being forced to close, we had to finally scrap any plans for an in-person festival. This meant nearly 100 shows pitched to us - many of them brand new pieces - could not happen in Plymouth. We hope one day those shows might get their chance.
And there are, of course, plenty of other women who have helped and supported the festival in various ways. We are forever indebted to them for their support, and will always celebrate them #InternationalWomensDay
On #InternationalWomensDay, we want to acknowledge how important women have been to #PlymouthFringe. Of 195 programmed artists/companies since 2015, 112 have been entirely or partly female-led - women have led the way in creating the work which we've presented these past 6 years.
We're super grateful to have talented friends in the city like @GemWardPhoto@LauraHortonPR, who have offered their expertise to support the festival over the years - and make it look beautiful.
