While housing starts declined in April, “the year-to-date figures in 2021 for housing starts were 1.59 million units (annualized pace) compared to 1.38 million in 2020, a 15% gain,” says NAR Chief Economist Lawrence Yun.

Using the Community Rebuilding Grant from @nardotrealtor, PMAR was able to work with the City of Portland and Portland Parks to create a plan to revitalize and repair damages to both Chapman Square and Lonsdale Park.

In February of this year, the Department of Housing and Urban Development announced that they will enforce the Fair Housing Act to prohibit discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity. 1/4
In 2013, that obligation was extended to include gender identity. NAR & PMAR both oppose discrimination in housing based on race, color, religion, sex, handicap, familial status, sexual orientation, gender identity, and national origin. 3/4
