When the United States and Iran signed the memorandum of understanding, Israel immediately pushed back hard. They claim they were not fully consulted, felt sidelined, and stated they do not feel bound by key parts of the deal, particularly Lebanon or Hezbollah. Israel's actions again Lebanon are now being used as the reason Iran refuses to continue talks.
