The newest breed recognized by the AKC- the Lancashire Heeler! A rare heritage breed hailing from Britain! Known for their smiles (: At max weight of about 13 lbs I believe this makes them officially the smallest breed in the herding group! A title previously held by Corgis!

Yeah, it’s the Shih Tzu.

Their ancient lineage -spanning over 1,000 years- puts them closer to the “original” domesticated dogs that descended from wolves thousands of years ago.

@WyattPuppers Apart from the grey I get a lot of people asking me if Bear is a doodle, Old English are so gorgeous and such clowns! Her coat doesn’t shed much at all but she would not be hypo allergenic or anything.
