Why I'm excited and believe 2025 will be a huge year for Dogecoin. (not talking about price at all)

We're shaping up to see:

- Huge growth in self-hosting nodes, decentralised, everyday Shibes securing the network.

- The kickoff of decentralised payment infrastructure that rewards node-runners when people spend Dogecoin at shops.

- The arrival of new community lead mining pools that aid in decentralisation.

- An explosion of L2s bringing new innovations on top of Dogecoin.

- Major adoption for payments, I know of at least 3 big retail chains currently investigating payments.

- Self-hosted online shopping and retail aggregation creating the beginnings of a real DOGE economy for anyone who wants to participate.

I had few questions:

- For those concerned about the potential use of the Dogenet Pup or the DogeBox to create an alternative to POW, what can you share?

- In the future, is there a possibility that Gigiwallet could rely on other pups like Dogenet instead of Core?

- Are there any specific ports that need to be opened at the router level to operate Core / Node with Dogebox? (Or none because it’s Linux)
