The Point Cabrillo Museums, Gift Shop and Marine Science Exhibit are open everyday from 11am-4pm! Learn Mendocino Coast history at our historic 1909 lighthouse!
Point Cabrillo needs you!!
If you love talking with people all over the world and sharing the history of the Mendocino Coast, come be a docent at Point Cabrillo Lighthouse!
Our gift shop volunteer shifts are 3.5 hours long, and it is such a delight being able to share the beauty of our coast with visitors. You can work once a week or once a month, or help out on our monthly lens tour days.
Built in 1909, the rehabilitated Point Cabrillo Light Station is now a state historic park set upon 297 acres of trails and wildlife just 4 miles north of Mendocino. https://t.co/HNsauou2AT
Point Cabrillo Lighthouse is located between the towns of Mendocino + Fort Bragg in beautiful Northern California.
This 1909 lighthouse features the last rotating Fresnel lens in California, and is still a Federal Aid to Navigation under the jurisdiction of the U.S. Coast Guard.
The Point Cabrillo Lightkeepers Association is the nonprofit responsible for the maintenance and education at Point Cabrillo Light Station State Historic Park.

The folks you meet in our gift shop and museums are all volunteers, which allows us to put your gift shop purchases, vacation rental fees, donations and raffle entries directly into taking care of this historic place.
