@dh7net We used base Google Cardboard + Google Maps to allow old people, who could not travel, to visit the streets they used to live on. You should have seen their reactions. They have asked for a repeat ever since (but Google killed it). We should let users decide what is valuable!

For example, do you want your or your child's associations be *default* searchable on the web, without consent? The fact that web UI has failed does not equal to the idea of GDPR being bad.

For example, when people are interviewed for a job, GDPR means we have to limit the exposure of their personal data, which often includes sensitive stuff (illnesses, birthday, past history) to the interview, and immediately delete it afterwards

@eevblog @FloydPage Hey Dave. You'd trust a guy who has designed welding machines? A good quality (not cheapo) stick (MMA) welder + good active glass welding mask is what you need. People find stick welding hard only because they use cheap machines with poor electronics = poor arc ignition
