MKP MP Crossby Vusi Shongwe LIED under oath saying President Jacob Zuma doesn’t know Khan. The instruction to appoint Feroz Khan as Major General (skipping the rank of Brigadier entirely) came directly from President Jacob Zuma to then Police Minister Nathi Mthethwa, who was tasked with executing it. Mthethwa then applied pressure on Lt Gen Mothiba, who facilitated the irregular promotion. Interestingly, Khan had been instrumental in “managing” Zuma’s rape accuser, Fezekile “Khwezi” Kuzwayo. Only they know what Khan was being rewarded for with that accelerated rank.
