@oldcatfartboss Agreed , Fiscal contributions matter, but immigration is about more than economics: social cohesion and culture matter too. It’s fair to expect immigration to add value, not undermine established society. Calling such debate “hatred ” risks shutting down legitimate discussion

@oldcatfartboss The point you’re missing is that expecting an immigration policy that benefits the UK isn’t xenophobia or hatred. It’s reasonable to expect those granted the privilege of living here to contribute, respect our laws, & uphold the responsibilities that come with that opportunity.

@KayBurley sorry to point out the obvious but that boat will now not be used again to transport illegal migrants entering the UK. it's easily replaced but let them replace it.Why would your focus be on this&not why the dingy appeared to have been transported with help of French rescue boats
