Keto day 22.

I woke up hungry and had left over turkey, pumpkin, and smokey mixed greens soup. I am satisfied now. I just ate a giant bowl and am stuffed, and it was fewer calories, fat and carbs than a Big Mac or slice of pizza while being 3x the volume, easily.

@arcachronica Indiana is right next door to ohio and Kentucky, both are states where disabled people get Medicaid and SSI together. If you move, consider them. They're close enough to drive up and see family any time you wish. Kentucky has low cost of living as well.

@arcachronica That doesn't diminish the Medicaid, only the cash allotment. He should have Medicaid regardless if he draws a penny of cash from SSI, as long as he qualified as disabled.

If you're poor you get Medicaid. If you're old you get Medicare. If you can afford it you get private insurance. If you work you get private insurance. Everyone is covered and the wait times are non-existent.

It's always care first and billing second. Hospitals are forced by law to render care regardless of ability to pay.

Our system is 100x better than socialized medicine.

I like our system much better.

At least ambulances show up when you call them and you can get that appendectomy in time.
