@eva_ullreich @worldartira@historyinmemes I agree Eva - they had good knowledge about clean water and London had pipes connecting the spring at Tybourne to the Great Conduit at Cheapside. In the 17th century water was brought down from springs in Hertfordshire by the New River Company.
