Unrelated, but I covered @VanJones68 getting pushed out of the Obama administration in 2009 after the right dredged up his Maoist past and I credited the ouster to Glenn Beck, who’d been crusading against him.

After publishing the story I got an angry note from Andrew Breitbart saying he properly deserved the credit for taking out Van, not Beck. He laid out his whole case. I might have updated the story to give them both credit, don’t remember.

Either way, if Breitbart were around today I suspect he’d be embarrassed for Van.
